Even though more and more sustainable projects are being built lately, we didn’t see this coming: you are looking at the world’s first sky-scraper to have wind turbines. Nicknamed “The Razor”, this incredible structure is located in London and measures 148 meters. The official name of the project is “Strata SE! Tower”, a building equipped with three wind turbines, that will ensure 8% of the structure’s total energy consumption. Here are some words from the official website: “Strata SE1 comprises a £113.5 million investment in the area by Brookfield Europe and will provide 408 high quality apartments in two prestigious architecturally distinguished buildings, the Tower and the Pavilion, both with space for shops and restaurants below.

Colorful Apartment Oregon by Sienna Architects
Today we would like to present some interesting apartment interiors that we think fall in the category of “complex” arrangements. That is because there ere many elements that needed to be combined and placed together in the same room. You are looking at a two-story high apartment from Portland, Oregon that was developed in a vintage building, respecting the construction’s main architecture lines. The project belongs to Sienna Architects, an architecture company from USA. It was built on a 2,200 square feet surface. Glass stairs connect the two floors and also give the place a contemporary and modern touch. Colorful elements (like the yellow armchairs and purple cushions) cheer up the room and become the focal point. Please let us know what you think.
